I cannot see a way here (in this forum) for us to tag our details for enrolment into a (opt out) e-mail thing.
Or am I stupid.
This is the 21st century - is it not ??

Yes, but I was hoping for an opt-in list such that if any one was going to organise an event all interested peeps would get at least an e-mail.

Otherwise all communication is lost.

What is the point of PM's in such a context?

Yes. I was making a satirical remark regarding opting in to a mailing list, and the possibility that I wouldn't have to opt in due to the fact that my internet details may be in the wrong hands.
