It is like trying to find the said rocking horse poo.. really.
I'm trying to get the heater working on my ex swiss fire service series III.
I bought the hoses from paddocks no problem.
I got a local plumber to bend me some tube as the metal pipes are no longer made and weeks of internet searching produced no results.

Now all i need is the cylinder head adapter.
Mine is a late series II so a 5MB engine and therefore the thread size on this i 16mm with a 1mm pitch ... so a fine thread..
I have been every where, to hydraulic shops, to air compressor shops and and and ..

Ok so the kind lady at Turner engineering has one for 40quid ...

was just wondering if anyone else has had the joy of searching for this and if so did you find an alternative?

They have them in the States....

Can you use an ERC9432? I don't know what thread it is, IF the temp sender and heater ports are the same it could work.

I think thats the same, the 624091 is the imp thread ...
I cant find any specs on the ERC9432 .. but yes if the outside thread is the metric I could find some kind of tube maybe that mates to the inside thread ...
I read on a lightweight forum that they have been using hydraulic adapters which have the the fine 16mm but so far i'm out of luck here in darkest Switzerland

Update ..
Thanks to Rob I have been in touch with these guys and have bought the original part ( ERC9453) from them ...

And my solution to the metal pipes that run from the heater valve to the matrix and back to the adapter is to use this flexible stainless pipe from a local heating engineer
I'll post some photos when it's done.
