Hi, can anybody help?
My 14 plate HSE has an intermittent problem with the entertainment system & Sat Nav. This first appeared in November when 'all went crazy'. Connection to phone was temporarily lost; a request "to insert CD" was given and the sat nav arrow failed to move/track along the route. An occasional spike/crackle was audible. This spike noise was also heard during the cool-down period when the engine was switched off.
After a few days of similar behaviour this seemed to settle and all worked well. My dealer failed to find a fault - at that time it was working OK.
I now find that the fault has recurred, with even more permutations of phone,CD, Stored CD's, USB, Radio settings etc. all creeping in!
I know that this is still under warranty but would like an idea if anybody else has experienced this problem or have any ideas about cause.
