Hi, I'm finishing up my motor to put back into the truck. I have to wires with ring terminals that need final placement. :whoosh:
They both appear to be grounds with ring terminals crimped on them that would likely be fixed under a bolt or nut. One wire is black on dipstick side. Other wire is red on oil filler neck side. The wire reach coil bracket and fuel rail mounting bolts. So, I'm assuming that they hook up under either of these barackets? I looked through RAVE with out much luck. I'm hoping someone on this site has some knowledge of were these hook up. I attached a couple of photos for reference. Please help it is one of the last problems I need to tackle before installing the motor.

It is very doubtful that the red wire is a ground. Must power something. Black wire will be a ground.

I'll pop the hood and take some photos of my 4.6 engine in those locations and post them up for you. (my block wont be as clean as yours though)

Cant see jack on mine too much in the way of accessories in the way, which engine and model year is yours ?
