Hi, I wonder if anyone supports my theory before I spend money on a part I might not need?..
My '05' Disco 3 has the 2.7 TDV6 but in the last year a slowly getting worse is a waver on the engine speed when under any loads roughly between 2000- 3500 rpm but is most prevalent when climbing hills at motorway speeds.
I was thinking of changing the air flow sensor but my theory is mainly based around a problem I fixed on a previous car. Before I spend £90 ish on a new part, would this sound like a plausible solution without the expensive trip to you know who to charge me what ever they fancy to not fix the fault!!!
Apart from these symptoms the Disco runs like a dream, always has done. She's on 111000miles if connected to any common wear problems etc?
