Hi any body know the best place to have a Range Rover l322 04 4.4 LPG engine rebuilt as it's been round the clock twice and getting tired I am in Denholme West Yorkshire any suggestions would be appreciated

I do believe he mentioned that in his post :rolleyes: but its late iv got a cold and cant see to well..
Good luck in your search try and find a decent engine reconditioner near you. Having just rebuilt one of these engines well my mate john did there not so scary
 
No idea about rebuild BUT round the clock twice :eek: That has to be the highest mileage on the forum, or even amongst L322s! Well done that engine.

So if it is 15 years old....thats 133,333miles a year.....wtf.

Loads of ways to break it down but whichever way it's done, if he really means "round the clock twice', it's some engine.
 
It depends what you mean by rebuild , if the bores are ok then it’s quite straight forward and if it only needs rings and not pistons it is ok as long as you buy the correct Alusil OEM rings. If the bores are worn or have any scoring then it’s not really viable to recondition although not impossible.
