About to do oil change just wondering what members opinion is on additives cheers

If an oil change is causing you so much grief you need a sedative I would get someone else to do it for you.

Modern engine oils are full of additives anyway.

Don't bother. Just use good oil.

What turboman said. Use good oil and change it whenever it needs to be changed. In my opinion, 6000 miles is too much for a 300tdi. a maximum of 4000 or 6 months, whichever comes first.
