Hi All,

I think I've asked before but cant find my post.......

I now have 2 Land Rover engines, one a 2.5na and the other a 2,25 my question is regarding the engine numbers to be able to gain some info (age etc)....both engine numbers begin with E for example the 2,25 is E46558031

There are loads of listings giving the engine number table but not one starts with 'E'

I've tried looking online but it doesn't help....just reverts to the same old table.

Anyone help?

Are thay UK engines or were thay for exports?

No idea, both purchased in Spain

I would say that thay we're for export if purchased in Spain I think the E gives it a way Espania ?

Still doesn't help me find any info......Guessing doesn't help....there's nowhere any record that I can find that explains an 'E' and how to get the info

Spanish number? I believe LR exported parts to Spain and thay we're assembled there so would be a Spanish eng number

Have you got any numbers and letters cast in on side of block, between the core plugs , this will give the date block cast
