Hi how many digits does a 200tdi engine number have, And do they end in a letter ie 11L,,,,,,A , i cant tell if its a 1 or a A stamped on the block last , The log book says A but it sort of looks like a 1 but if they do end in a letter i will leave it and not get changed , thanks gerry

They usually start with the 11L bit for the defender engine, disco starts with 12L
I wouldnt go near the dvla if you can help it as even if its innocent it may be worth more hassle than its worth.
