Hi I was wondering if anyone might be able to help me id the engine in my V reg (1980) range rover as i wish to rebuild it and will need gaskets etc .
It is a 4 cyl diesel with an aftermarket turbo fitted has japanese writing all over it and an emblem that looks like a T followed by a backwards E and rj but all joined up ,this is on the oil cap the alternator (24v) the injection pump (nippon denso) and starter (also 24v) any help would be much apprieciated, as a last resort i will have to go knocking the doors of all the local jap dealerships but am dubious as to how helpful they will be to a landrover enthusiast Thanks Brian
