I cannot praise these guys enough.

I bought a CD changer for my P38 off them a couple of weeks ago. It arrived like lightening.

Anyway, the changer didn't want to play ball and kept playing up - jamming up etc.

So I called them and they said, "Send it back and we'll either refund you or send you another". Fair enough I thought.

So I sent it back. I phoned them the day after and asked if they had a replacement and they said "Sorry, they didn't." (Not a problem as I'd found a company selling brand new ones for a snip.)

Anyway, today I looked at my account and thought that looks a bit healthier than it should. When I looked further Emmotts had refunded by account!!

I only contacted them on Tuesday!!! Bloody marvelous service.

Thank you Emmotts. (I did try and phone but you'd all gone home!)
 
It's always good when you get to deal with people like that.

A lot of folk don't give a **** about customer service. Probably never even heard of it.

Agree entirely : I got a duff ABS pressure switch : phoned them and said I had sourced another : I just asked them to credit me with the amount and I'd get it taken off something in the future. Nothing in writing at either end.
I called them the best part of a year later and without discussion they said they remembered and full credit given off new purchase.
That's the decent people we need in business.
 
Sounds good service. Shame they hadn't tested your first cd changer more thoroughly though! :)

Out of interest, where is the place you got your replacement? I could do with a working cd changer in my P38.
