Just collected my first land-rover...
Bit of an odd reason for buying really but bare with me.

I've spent over 8 years restoring and tuning an old police volvo. The last part of the project was wheels. I'd been looking for a set of 18" BBS split rims for years, eventually I found a knackered set, with kerb rash everywhere, deep scratches etc.
I spent weeks restoring them in the garage and put them on, happy in the knowledge that my project was nearly there...

Then the wife fell pregnant and we had to decide between the daily corsa E or the volvo.

Within a week of using the volvo for the school run, the wife had rashed a wheel. Twice.

Fast forward a few months and more kerb damage, to last week, after the wife got home with both passenger side wheels rashed, I gave up and said "it's going - were getting a disco, let's see you ruin the wheels on that!" (I may have removed a few expletives from the above quote).

I asked a good friend to have a look at a discovery with me (he knows landys like I know volvos) and after 3 rotten ones that looked perfect on the outside, he found me a solid td5, almost rust free, had loads of parts replaced recently - abs, rad, front prop, ball joints etc. but the interior is absolutely hanging, really, I've seen rough cars but this is bad.

It's already got a few mods - bumpers, snorkel, light bar, modular (?) wheels with general grabber rubber on them.
First job is sort the interior, fix the sunroofs then a service.

Oh it has fully working ACE which seems fun :)

Guessing this is the cloth seats interior. Was a bit of a state on my Disco 2 as well.
I would have preferred the leather seats, but it was cheap as chips so I wasn't too bothered.
