Hello there

Just wondering if anyone has any experience with an Elite remap on a TD5 by Elite performance?

Dynachip is £250 mate, and brilliant! How much does elite cost? I've never heard of them!

Do any of you guys get smoke when you boot it?

It's only as misses works at a garage and he said he's got elite remap for td5 for cheap... But don't want to risk my dear little engine lol!

My TD5 smoked badly after it was remapped and l had to have it reset by Land Rover.

However l missed the extra power so called Dynachip, he spent some time on it and adjusted the settings three or four times, after that it was great and barely any smoke at all.

It's not as much power as the other remap but it's still much better than standard, on a hill where l could get just over 50mph flat out in fifth it will now get to about 65.

Hi bud, i think you'll find with pretty much any remap, you are increasing the fueling somewhat, so this, in turn, will create more of an exhaust smoke or colouring than before, when you boot it. No smoke, no poke as they say!

I thought mine was totally clear, but upon fitting a straight thru I noticed some sooty deposit on the mud flap after giving it the beans, doesn't concern me in the slightest, the engine is sounding sweeter than it ever has before, and now with the mid box back in place ir is no longer noticeable!

I'd go for a remap that has plenty of feedback though, not one that's cheap! Just my opinion though. :)

May be it is a different elite remaps, Does appear to be a fairly common name.

But the website I found did not list a D2 as an option.

Do you have more info from the supplier?

Cheers
