Hello everyone.

I'm currently in the process of re-installing the wiring loom for a Defender 90 200tdi and there are a few wires behind the dash that are a mystery to me. I've delved deep into the wiring diagrams and googled a lot to no avail !

1st are the Slate/Red wires. Both connected into a small female spade connector suggesting they go into the dash warning light but what for ? Googling this says they are for transmission oil temperature but to my knowledge I don't have this installed, so I don't know.
Next to it is the white wire running alongside it similarly with a small spade female connector. Again no idea where this goes.

2nd are the Black/Pink and Black/Slate Wires which I believe are for the rear heated window. Could someone tell me how and where I need to connect these. Both this time with large spade connections. In the diagram there is a diode between these wires so I'm a bit confused.

Thanks in advance for your help :)

Heated rear window wires will go straight into the switch next to the hazard switch.
Mine also has trans warning light, it doesnt work but may be wired in but as I have never looked I dont know for sure.

Nice one so the transmission wires are to be taped and forgotten about.

The switch for the rear heated window is already connected with its wires if I recall correctly. hmm... I'll have to have a look next weekend when I'm working on it again.

The first picture looks like something that's been added aftermarket/by a previous owner (spade crimp and heat shrink)
