Hi.

Planning on fitting an electric fan this weekend to my 200tdi. Currently running with no fan but want to fit one for odd occasion its needed.

Does anyone have a wiring diagram? Just want to wire it back to a switch in the cab so I can manually switch it on when eng temp gets too high.

I have searched but all seem to include thermostats.

Thanks.

Not wishing to hijack thread, but given that most people don't reckon on using an elecric fan that often, does it matter what size the fan is? Would one from an old Rover 100 (Metro) do?
Cheers

i've ot an old scooby one for my disco 300tdi,will be fitting it at the weekend

Will that make it go 'whooosh.......psssss.......whooosh.......psssss' :)

BTW You need to get a new rad fitted soon....and an oil change! :D

Thermostat is only a temperature controlled switch - wire in and wire out. Wire into thermostat will be + in, wire out will go to the fan. There will be another wire on the fan that will go to ground to complete the circuit.

Run the + in to thermostat to ur switch and run the wire to the fan from the other side of the switch and it will be fine.
