Hi, I have a freelander 2 with a jerking fault and told likely egr. Do I just blank it off with a plate from eBay @ £9.00 and leave unit in place, what about the wireing

Any help really appreciated
Bit stuck here pondering whether to replace egr unit

Why does the EGR get blamed for everything? They are generally pretty reliable, and doesn't make a car jerky.

It also depends on the year as to whether it can be blanked or not.

I'd be getting a proper diagnostic run on it, and go from there.
