I have decided to remove the EGR in my TD5. I live in a tropical country and I do not need hot air to recirculate in my engine. I am going to purchase the kit to blank the whole thing and my question is : do I need to make any other specific adjustment or tuning once this is done? . My land Rover mechanic is not too sure si I prefer to check with the Landy community first

No, you just need to purchase the kit and fit it, there are no other modifications you need to do.

dont buy owt get your mechanic to make a gasket without a hole out of tin to blank it.
worked fine on my audi
