What's the best way to remove the EGR system on these? The car itself is a Defender 90 300TDi of '97 era.
I was considering going the whole hog and removing the control modules and all the wiring. How easy is it? It would be nice to remove all traces of it altogether.

At bare minimum I'd want to blank it off and replace the intercooler pipe for one without the EGR going into it. Are there blanking plates and intercooler pipes available?

I'm planning on giving it a full service soon including removing the inlet manifold and giving it a clean including all the ports. I may remove the intercooler to flush it out too.

Thanks,
Sam.

Yes manifold blanks and straight pipes are available, don't forget to blank off the vac line to the EGR when you remove it
