Hi chaps,

Been doing some work on mates seris3 brakes.
Ive come to the conclusion I need a pressure bleeder.
Ive read good reviews about the eezibleed system, but does any of the caps fit a seris 3 fluid resivior?
Its the long round type, rather than the flat type.

Yep - fairly certain you get that size in the kit - ezee bleed is good but if you've replaced the master and have got a spare cap you can make your own....................... drill hole in old cap big enough to take an old valve from a tube [push bike etc] fit valve to cap, put a lock nut on, cap on resevoir and footpump up to pressure - done job.....................

I tried it on a Series 2 and none of the caps fitted. If I remember correctly, there were instructions to drill a hole in your own reservoir cap and use a supplied adaptor. Maybe I was doing something wrong, but I never got it to work properly.

I found the same with eezibleed and the universal cap was as much use as a kick in the slats

I generally do a gravity bleed or use a draper one man bleed kit if I am in a hurry, the kit is just a tube with a one way valve and a plastic container
