Hi,
Does anyone know if the 4 wheel drive subframe will fit the 2 wheel drive model. Looks Like lots of reasonable cost options for 4WD but 2WD genuine part is £1500.

Hello. It's the rear subframe.

I imagine the fixing points will be the same to the body. Does the 2wd subframe have anything attached that is specific to being 2wd? If not I imagine it would fit.
What is the price difference?

Don't think there is anything specific to the 2WD. Can get 4WD part on eBay for £400-500 but genuine LR part for 2WD is £1500.

I don't know for sure, but I imagine the 2WD frame is the same as the 4WD frame with the diff mounts removed to save a few grams of weight to save a few micro liters of fuel.

However, I wouldn't put it past JLR to punch an impression in the 2WD chassis to foul on a 4WD frame diff mount so you have to buy £1,500 2WD frames!
