I have a few fault codes logged which come back after I clear them with my scanner (iCarsoft i930):

1. Air flow circuit fault: Logged High = MAF sensor?
2. Road speed missing fault: Logged = Not too worried about this one as my mate's D2 shows the same on my scanner.
3. Can error fault = ??????
4. Injector 3 open circuit detected: Logged = Injector seal? I have no oil in the injector harness plugs.

Any thoughts?

open circuit on injector is generally contaminated injector loom so needs changing,
maf fault high, needs new maf sensor

CAN(controller area network) is specific only for autos and it's about the comunication link between the engine ECU(ECM) and the transmission ECU, "road speed missing" means that the ECM lost the road speed signal for a short time for some reason...if it's still coming back after it was erased it's also a comunication problem between the ECM and the SLABS ECU, this fault can affect shift controll ... though if your's is manual it means that the scanner's protocoll is not the best and it missinterprets some fault codes

That explains that one. Mine is a manual and my mates is an auto (this code wasn't showing on his).

Actually, thinking about it I have noticed a very intermittent lack of power, which would tie in with the MAF and injector loom faults....
Stack of parts ordered from JGS:
Injector loom
Rocker cover gasket
Injector washers and seals (might as well do those while I'm there)
MAF sensor
ACE valve block filter
