hi guys just wondering does a 300tdi discovery with the ecu controlled injection pump have an electric pump in the tank? at a friends request I have fitted a 200tdi but it runs out of fuel relatively quickly after its emptied the filter, the engine itself is a known good one as its from mine

any tips or advice on this?

no lift pump on side of engine similar to 200 tdi ,sender unit in tank has habit of having rotten fuel pipes tha suck air in causing issues or problem with sedimenter on inside of chassis near rear wheel

okay thanks , I dident think they had an electic pump but a few friends have been insisting they have ! , I think air ingress is the problem as it runs fine from a can of diesel , thanks for the help I was just about to ask where the sedimenter was
