Outer rears!!
They were like a pair of slicks! Ive got four new boots on now so hopefully the re-alignment has done the trick.

What makes you think the shocks?
I thought this would produce a more uneven wear not just outsides??

First thought VCU, so took this off before I put the last pair of tyres on!
But within 6 months the outer rears were slicks but the insides like new.The nearside being the worst.

looking at the results do you not think this is the sol culprit?
Or should I be looking at something else?
As I really don't want to be looking at buying more tyres in 6 months:(

Er, so you have had the 4 wheel alignment done - what's the issue now?

Hopefully the alignment has sorted out the issue. But a couple of people came up with with a few other things which good cause the same affect.

So really just trying to eliminate everything!

Did you have new bushes fitted before the alignment was done? They will degrade over time, some worse than others which throws the alignment all over the place!!
Doing the alignment with doing the bushes first is'nt the best way imho.

You need to drive it about and see what happens - hopefully even tyre wear!:)

Let's bloody hope so, I'll have shares in tyres otherwise:eek:
 
If you still get adverse tyre wear then I'd fit a full set of Poly bushes to front and back then get the alignment done again. This way you will pretty much guarantee correct alignment ;)
