Hi all,now i,ve sussed the vibration, the eas has gone on the blink. Its sitting on it,s bump stops and will not rise.I have a Nanocom and it shows "invalid" fault .When cleared it still will not rise.compressor is working and shutting off after about 6 mins with the door open. if I command it to rise with the Nanocom it does not move.I have inflated the car with a compessor manually and it is staying up. I am at a loss and am not clever enough to understand enough about the system . I have read Wammers write up and I cannot see the problem. Any ideas that may help would be greatfully received. Thanks

Observation time, any cracked or worn airbags buddy?
Have you tested the air output from the compressor? If it doesn't inflate adequately after so many times it'll throw a wobbler...
o_O

the compressor runs an output is good as per my post, no leaks as the bags stay up if manually inflated . its as if the car is sulking and not doing what it is told

Can you manually open the valves on nanocom? If so and it goes up then it might be the ECU. If it doesn't go up but the valves are definitely open, it would suggest a leak.
Are all the lights on on the switch?

need diagnostics. EAS Unlock is free, and either make a cable or buy one. Then you can reset the faults, and start posting what you find.

Otherwise its a long bumpy journey to someone with northish located diags !!

He's got nanocom and tried resetting the only fault shown which was invalid fault

I have tried most things this am but still have no joy I have re inflated the bags manually again and will level it up after lunch. does anyone know which line does which airbag ,as its a bit low at the back and I would rather not mess about. i just need to know wich airlines feed the rear bags.

If you imagine the airblock as the car lying on its driver's side then the bags are at the same corners as the pipes in the block.

EDIT: or should be unless someone has been playing silly beggers with the solenoids.

Thanks for that. Situation so far NO bag or pipe leaks Nanocom will register hights on all 4 wheels I can open and close valves sometimes but stiill wont lift. pump producing air at high pressure and switches off after 6 mins (presuming tank is full) will need to check that when I get home.Checked wires in l/h footwell and in pump box. lights in cab working as usual, just that car wont rise. Brain hurts now so leaving it manually pumped up.

Can you deflate the bags one at a time using Nanocom?

Just a thought, is the pump switching off on the thermal switch rather than the pressure switch?
As you said, you need to check there is actually air in the tank at the right pressure.

PP38 vouge thanks for the offer.Wazzajnr, I am not sure yet,but the pump is not getting that hot. I am not at home till end of the month so I am struggling a bit.I will keep looking, but the "invalid fault"suggests to me that the signals are not reaching the valves. Thanks for your help and I will keep you informed

Could be that the thermal switch is opening too early. From memory, Nanocom shows state of the pressure switch and thermal switch so you should be able to see which one is stopping the pump.
It might be that the pump is delivering very little air but the pressure switch is opening too soon.
I have seen invalid faults on my eas but it's never stopped it working.

I am inflating maually till I get home
and have searched for thr wheel centre to wheelarch hight and cannot find it. has anyone got the standard wheelarch to centre hight thanks
