Time to get the bucket of soapy water out. You will most likely have a leak somewhere (probably at the front). If you can't find a leak then you may have a faulty height sensor on the front but my money is on a leak.
Lots of info on the forum on this subject.

The Range Rover EAS has two fault modes known colloquially as 'Hard Faults' and 'Soft Faults'

A Hard Fault is when the system lowers the car to the bump stops and the ride is Hard (Hence the name)

A Soft Fault is when the system retains a ride height but indicates a fault.

The difference between the two types of fault mode is what has caused it.....usually a Hard Fault is an Air Leak of some kind or lack of Compressor running.

A soft fault is more often than not a faulty Height Sensor, sticking valves, or tripped thermo switch on the compressor.

Two ruddy fantastic members on here are pretty much the defacto experts on the EAS and they are Wammers and Datatec.

The Latter can produce a special cable and provide software (from a company called RSW Solutions) for only a few sheckles, this can then be plugged into the ODBsocket and read the fault codes. clear faults and calibrite height sensors....

He is on Holiday till the the end of the month I believe, but send Datatec a PM if you are interested in a lead and software disc....as this is the first place to start with a 'Soft Fault'

reading the threads on eas problems says the lights flash mine dont even flash on start up doesn't even say hard fault or anything on dash just says max 35mph

It won't say hard fault or soft fault and won't tell you what the problem is on the dash.....

Again depending on the lights flashing or not flasjhing indicates the type of fault (Hard or Soft) I believe....

The Max 35mph warning indicates a fault also....but not what the fault is....Either wait for Datatec to return for the lead and software, or Download the software and the instructions to make a lead from RSW Solutions www.rswsolutions.com

Keep searching on here there is a wealth of info....

You will have to get EASunlock software laptop and cable. Read faults note them and start form there. There could be a raft of them but not all genuine. Read clear then see what comes back. Crystal ball is away for cleaning.:):)

hi back again got eas fault on dash 35mph shows its at high setting on dash but on bump stops if I bridge relay pump runs but doesn't raise suspension at all any help please

Did you get the cable and software we advised you off nearly 2 years ago??

If you followed our marvellous advice, what are the faults displayed.....if you didn't, well that's your silly fault :D:D:D:D

Were you at? Many members have this lead and would read and reset for a cuppa and a few biccies.
personaly im a bacon buttie guy!

yes bought the eas cable it shows about 20 faults ride height faults some aout exhaust valves then idle goes get a lot of clicking from under passenger seat and acess setting changes to 255 on all 4 bags but still doesn't rise at all i'm on isle of wight i'll buy a 3 course dinner if you want lol

sounds like you have poor comms on the software...

you need to have the green idle button illuminated, check your port settings and try a different driver for your usb/serial device if you are using one!

As Saint said, you have a comms problem. Are you using a USB to serial adaptor? If you are you need the correct drivers for your version of windows, if you have Vista it can be a problem, Win7 64 bit also has problems with some USB adaptors.
