Grrrrrr

Today I replaced my rear airbags. All went smoothly, I thought. Started her up and went for a short run and all seemed good. Parked up and went inside to fit a showerpump (another saga of woe there but not RR related). Went back out this evening and the rear of the Rangie is on the floor.

I've started the car but it wouldn't rise. Tried to get the airline out of the bag to remove it but the damn thing is going nowhere. Are Arnotts different? Couldn't feel a collet. Then I heard the hiss. I've got a major leak at the rear and the OSR bag is flat. Looked underneath and felt air pouring out the plug -hole of the wheel well. How would air be coming out under there?!

did you have the pipe pushed in fully? Bit like having full benefit.

I would run a spare line to test but 1) someone nabbed most of my spare line and 2) I cannot get the old line out.

Where does the RH air line run on tge '95m i reckon it might have cracked with me fiddling with it.

Not sure on that year mate, did you check that both O rings We're in place? See you didn't ask what full benefit was.;):D

If you pushed it in, it’s got a collet to push to release some are tight.

Don’t know Arnotts.

Put your glasses on and have a good look:D

That's the odd thing. Definitely pushes in but just looks like brass - although I was squinting in the dark. Rounds off what ended up a total f*cker of a day.

It can be difficult to get the pipes in and sealed on the Arnotts, a smear of silicone grease or washing up liquid helps.
The collets are the same as Dunlops on mine.

But if air coming out spare wheel well then surely it has melted or broken over the back axle?
