Landy I've just bought didn't come with an MOT certificate, although gov website say's it has 12m. Has anyone got a replacement from a website which offer them to be emailed? If so, can you recommend a legit one?

Cheers

? I thought they didn't issue MOT certificates any more you just get a printout from the garage and the rest is online.

True, tis like that, but if you lose it or never get given it if you buy a motor, then you have to go and ask a local MOT station for a copy.

Not true at all. The the garage print out is still headed MOT Test Certificate, so it's a certificate... and states what 's recorded on the DVSA's data base. :)

The difference is that the certificate isn't now provided by VOSA with the document information on the rear.

You don't need one, providing the DVLA web site says it has passed a test, that is all you need to know, it is what the police use as proof of a pass. Not the piece of paper you are given.
