Just started noticing this week there a vibration at 60 to 70 mph on neutral or slightly trailing throttle.
Any ideas what it could be? I though drivetrain, but I'd expect that to be worse under load.. .?
Now check the VCUOnce again, it is demonstrated that Wammers knows everything.
It was the prop shaft front spicer.
Thanks Tony
I'd only do that if the WammerGod said to..
Your choice, but if it's siezed, the diff will be the next to go. I check mine on every service, only takes 5 minutes.I'd only do that if the WammerGod said to..
Nobody said it was, but seized VCU's are common and drive line wind up is destructive as you well know.Check the VCU by all means, but it is not always the VCU that causes prop failure. Spicers are capable of failing all on their ownsome without anything else's assistance.
