Normal RH thread...use a longer lever!!

Thanks, you are a saint.

What confused me was the top of the oil filter cover has a directional arrow pointing clockwise on it.

Thats the way to tighten it, it also should say 25nm

What a beautiful thing it was to watch the stream of warm black oil drain out of the engine, like a solid bar of shininess, not a hint of turbulence in the stream.

Oh, sorry, came over a bit queer for a moment.

Standard hex socket fits as there is plenty of room

How many socket sets do you know of with a 36 mm socket in them? Not something the average Joe would possess. At the price that is a good buy.

I happened to have one i bought for the Transit, but it was not a lot more than that Sealy which is of very limited use.

Good for BMW oil filters though if you don't happen to have owned a Transit at some time.
