My X-plate P38 has just developed a problem with the driver's window.
I operated the one-touch to close the window. It motored closed in its normal fashion but when it reached the limit it made a loud clanking sound, as if the motor/gear assembly was jumping teeth. It seems like the motor is not stalling. The dash shows the window as 'not set' Following this procedure does nothing to stop the problem.

Any inputs would be welcomed.

Bet a barrel of Guinness that there is the remote possibility of it being the window regulator...any takers?????????:behindsofa:

Window regulater. £40 from E Bay, not difficult to fit
