I assumed that the speaker had disconnected on the drivers side and this would explain no sound emerging. Little did I know that there wasn't one there behind the speaker grill!!!

I happened to have a spare but then realised that there isn't even a space to put one on the drivers side.... Whats that all about then?

Also, can anyone tell me where I can get some of those little plastic clips that hold the door panel in place? They seem to bust for a living when removing the door panels.

I assume the speakers do not fit because the replacement is too deep, you can get different depth speakers to fit.

The little plastic thigy's I havent got a clue.

hes usually found floating about at the bottom off the page in the alt.fan.landrover forum.
hes got some in his defender section, wheather they will fit or not!! give him a bell.
there called trim panel retaining clips.
