Hi

I have a 2017 Discovery Sport, and recently my driver's side speaker have developed a rather annoying vibration. This vibration only happens when sound has a lot more bass, and does not happen when you listen to people talking. It does become more noticeable when the volume goes up.

It feels to me if the speaker is vibrating against something inside the door rather than the speaker itself. Surely if the speaker is at fault the vibration will happen all the time.

Has this happen to anyone else? If so, what is the fix without breaking the interior trim of the car? Is there a simple solution to this? I don't particularly want to be ripped off by a dealer.

Thanks

Speaker broken maybe, more likely to vibrate with bass.
The door trim will need to come off no need to break anything.
Doubt the dealer will rip you off but will charge a keen hourly rate, that's the trouble with modern Land Rovers, well any modern car really.

Thanks, is there a way for me to check this myself?

Like said, it's a door trim off job. You might want to check these out -
