Is there any adjustment on a 2002 Discovery door handle? or the mechanism

When i go to open the door i often have to pull on the handle a few times to get it to open the door

sounds like the electronic latch is on its way out, similar to the common fault on the rear doors...think mine cost about £70 supplied & fitted...
