I have seen a Discovery TD5 advertised with the DPF removed.
Surely this is now an MOT failure if standard fitment.
What year did they fit these from?
Cheers,
Jim.

pretty sure they never had DPFs fitted,

They might mean catilitic converter has been removed, which is a faiure now

Early EU2 modells dont have it only later Eu3's have a CAT but there are ''official'' de-CAT downpipes on the market and afaik as long as the emmisions are OK it's not a MOT failure cos it can't be verified, i've seen a discussion that there are now pipes which are ''simulating'' the CAT ;)

My 2001 TD5 doesn't have a cat, or DPF.

A local LR dealership should be able to check via the VIN number what state the Disco left the factory in (mine definitely was "non-catalyst").

Who's selling those?
