Does LZ Have a "down time" in the middle of the night? The web site seems to hang up at 2330 (EDT) when I do a late night session. I don't think it is my ISP as other sites are available.

Mmm i've noticed that the other night in a rare non sleeping time , LZ shut the shutters an had an epic fail. Nightwatchman probably forgot to put 50p in the meter..

It's cause Accy is getting sloppy about kicking Roy awake every 2 hrs to tweak the server with a No1 persuader

I was wondering the same to be honest. As i is in Merkin land for a while i often am on ere at 4am BST and sometimes it just shuts down and i can't load the site.

Yep, I did do a search ... and I came up with this!

I've noticed that LZ is unavailable between about 0200 and 0220 UTC (that's GMT to the non-geeks) every morning. Being a bit of a night-owl I've been caught out once or twice trying to add a comment.

Must be when the hamster takes a breather.

Yep, I'd agree with that, don't usually bother even trying to look at the site between 02:00 - 02:30 or there abouts

I usually take that as a hint to go to sleep when that happens

shuts down at about 2 am until 2-10 am.then it does it again about 4am until 4-10 am.or thereabouts.
