Hi all,

Recently fitted a double din stereo unit into my 2004 FL1, absolutely fine when at idle but goes crazy when I start driving, thinks I’m reversing…

The factory loom allowed for decent ‘plug and play’ compatibility, but this issue is driving me mad! Does anyone know if there is a wire that needs to be cut or blanked? I have looked over some diagrams but can’t dredge anything up?

Any help is greatly appreciated!

Looks like the cable conversion kit isn’t suitable for your car. Needs to be wired in right. I don’t have a diagram for the standard wires or your unit so can’t advise what to cut chop or change.
I would just get another harness adaptor.
If it was an online cheapo double din then a better one would probably solve it.
