I have a front passenger door lock that won't open via the fob, or via the dash lock button.

Anyone know of the locks/solenoid are repairable or is it a replacement job?

There is a thread some where in the Forum on replacing the solenoid that is faulty in the lock ... If u have some time on your hands, otherwise it's replacing the lock.

That's ok, Sierrafery posted something on it a few weeks ago so should be easy to find.

they are not solenoids, they have actually electric motors in them. I have just fixed my rear door one.

Here is a thread I started on earlier Serryfery was very helpful.

Funnily enough I took mine out and just looked at how it was working, cleaned and oiled the lot and it is working again.
Most people are not so lucky, but you can swap try to swap the motors; you lose your super lock but your door will work again

here it is Door lock actuator repair though my advice remains to better fit new
