As per title - the land rover ones are about £70 each, the others about £16. Anyone used the Bearmach, are they much the same or should i spend the extra cash?

Many thanks

I've never used Bearmach ones but at that price difference (and as they are fairly simple to fit) they would be worth a punt. The ones that you are replacing are probably genuine items and how long have they lasted? Genuine ones would have to last 4&1/2 times longer to be worthwhile.

I got britpart for the 4 doors on my 110sw, the fronts were fine, still on there now 14yrs later. The rears were rubbish and wouldn't bend around the aperture without distorting so I had to get genuine. The difference in fit was world's apart.

I fitted Bearmach on all doors and they appear to be doing the job. They feel nice and soft and fitted nicely, I certainly wouldn't have bought LR parts at that money.

Thanks for the replies, very helpful. What with the winter well on its way I want to get this one right. Dont want puddles in the car!

They are i assume the original ones (2010), and are uni great condition - Except that they have been bent both sides by the door stay and crumpled. Real shame.
