I have just bought my first land rover, its a 1961 series 2, and it has water coming in at the drivers side door. I been on paddocks web site looking to get some seals but I am a bit confused as to what seals to get.
They have the following seals
Door top to bottom
Door Rubber on the roll - per metre
Door Rubber - 90 one-piece seal RH or LH
Front bottom seal
Rear bottom seal
Now from what I can figure, from the manual, the front and rear bottom seals attach to the door, the door top to bottom and the door rubber on the roll are the same thing and attach to the frame is this correct? As for the 90 one-piece seal I have not a clue.
Can anyone help and let me know what seals are what and what the best ones to get are.
On another note the gear knob on my series 2 broke in two, paddocks supply a series 3 gear knob, will this fit the series two?
Regards
Dave
