Both the doors do not rattle on my 90.
Its 7 years old and up to last week they made a deafening noise that drowned out everything. Now they are silent. I can hear my radio when the car is moving. I originally thought it turned it self off automatically at 40 mph.
I rang my Land Rover garage and told him of the lack of noise from the doors...but he said I must be wrong ...
" are you sure they haven't fallen off ?" ......
He added " it could be that your gear box is rattling at exactly the opposite sound frequency thus nullifying the sound" - although he agreed that was probably unlikely . He was insistant though :" I have been doing this job for 40 years and I can tell you withouht even seeing the car - your doors must rattle. What about when you drive through a car wash?...do you stay dry inside?"
" Yes " I replied.
" Mate -you DO want the Land Rover garage right?"
