Ok I know its lame but i have just changed the glass part of my passenger door mirror on my series 3 but its loose, it looks like i have to take the door hinge off to get to the screw, please tell me i am wrong!

did you change the whole thing or just the mirror bit? mirror bit is tightened with an allen key underneath the ball swivelly bit if you replaced the whole thing then feck knows lol

You only have to take half the hinge off - then hinge it round to access the screws - well... that's what i did on mine - it was actually a lot quicker than i thought (like it took 30 seconds)

Yep especially when you have to do it once a week to stop the buggers dropping off.

i can't get the screws in the hinge to turn!

Can you get to the nuts on the inside of the door?
