Whilst I have fixed my problem of cycling door locks whilst driving - which was down to a sticky boot lock. I have an occasional problem where the boot won't open at all.

When it happens, I've also noticed the the drivers door doesn't activate the interior light. If I slam the drivers door shut a few times and operate the central locking a few times, I can get the drivers door to illuminate the interior light and when I can, the boot will work.

So, I'm assuming power is fed to the boot lock from the drivers door? What tells it that its open? I can't see a button that depresses (like a fridge would have). I'll take the door card off and poke around and clean things up, but I need to know where to look :)

tnx

Boot is controlled from drivers door, door needs to be unlocked for the boot to operate, check the micro switches in the drivers door lock, the unlock switch is not operating reliably

Nick there
are three micro switches one for the c locking and for the door ajar hence no Button and key barrel ie eka :)
