Fortunately - I hadn't reached the motorway yet and was only doing about 45mph

Unfortunately - The RAC wanted £150 to get me home as I didn't have "Recovery"

Fortunately - The RAC man had the idea to put the difflock on and remove the offending (front) propshaft.

Unfortunately - I need to upgrade my cover for the future

Fortunately - I managed to make it home this time - Phew!

It dented the chassis and you can just see in this picture that it has bent the floor and pushed out half the bolts! Lucky I wasn't going downhill with the wind behind me

they shuts early on a saturday though and are closed sunday

i paid £14 for me hub seals and 2 paper gaskets and £21 for 2 bearings i thort that was cheap when stealer wanted £17 for 1 seal

Daft question but how do you tend to / keep on top of the UJs?

if they've got nipples keep them well greased - if they dont check them often for play and change them as soon as you notice any
