just bought tubular manifolds and exhaust for v8 disco k reg,can i just unplug lambar sensors,or is there more to it,

No,you will be needing to change the ECU tune resistor for a Gulf States one,(Open loop tune.) or better still weld a pair of threaded bosses into the downpipes and keep the Oxy sensors. It will run better and the outputs from the sensors can be used for tuning/fault finding.
The tune resistor is plugged into the engine ECU loom about 10" from the loom plug.

thanks for that, ill put them in the new pipes, the engine i got them off had carbs on,im going to buy them aswell,i would like to fit them,is that an easy job,can i do away with all injection system, thanks dave,

Ere eight, is the Saudi resistor better to use than the standard UK non-cat resistor?

The Saudi one is 910 Ohm, UK is 470 Ohm so was just wondering what difference this would make to the fuel map if Lambda is ignored.

Dunno, hardly see any 14CUX stuff now - it was from the murky depths of my addled mind that I remembered the that the Saudi was non cat.
Its not much trouble to swop so have a go and see what it does ?

if i replace injection with carbs, can ecu be removed,i can get carbs and manifold, off engine which had exhaust, and any other bits i need,

Yes, you don't need the ECU with Carbs. You will loose some power and use more fuel and will need to periodically check your carbs are balanced but that's about all I think.

You need to think about the fuel system though, I think you will find you need a different fuel pump so you need to look in to that side of a conversion.

i got the exhaust off a v8 90,mine is lpg,and the 90 is lpg so the carbs have the lpg pipes attached, and it should have the fuel pump,
