hey I'm trying to find some back history on this vehicle, my uncle had it for 12 years before i inherited it and restored it. and he bought it from a caravan dealer in chichester with no history. its still registered as a pickup anyone seen one before?

or is it just a one off?

Don't know but my understanding is so long as it's demountable (in theory at least) it can remain registered as a pick-up as the body is carried by the loadspace.....I could be wrong as I've just started to look into this and struggling to find clear definitions.

The only details I could find from the DVLA website are that the vehicle appears to be still on the road (taxed until April 2014) and that the colour has been changed to red.

The are no details on there regarding body type, sorry.

i own the vehicle at present and have just painted it black.... dvla paper work is on route to swansea for the colour change and ive been all over the body looking for makers marks. starting to think it was made by a professional boat builder. cheers thou
