I am looking to get some prices for someone to paint my Land Rover which im currently rebuilding. I've been to a few companies but they just seem to laugh at you and seem to think your joking when you say you would like a price. I think they probably prefer a nice straight Ford Focus than a knocked about 90. So if there is anyone you lot out there could recommend or at least point me in the right direction of a normal human being who wants to take me seriously around bedforsdshire although if there good and interested I don't mind a bit of traveling please please let me know.

Don't know whereabouts in Bedfordshire you are but try Ian at Milton Keynes Motorbodies, Beancroft Road, Marston Mortaine. Tel 01234 767237.
He is a LR enthusiast and is happy to do fully body resprays or individual panels. Used him a few times now and always pleased (most recent was last year when he painted my new Puma bonnet and a few other small parts).

What are his prices like for panels and touch ups? I need a full rear safari door and some touch ups with the odd bit of rust getting on my nerves.

Thanks for that. I will try him. I'm not a million miles away. did you prep it and were you happy with the quality.

I just gave him the new panels and let him get on with it, he's the painter, not me.

Quality is excellent, 2-pack and the proof is in the fact that the panels he did for me several years ago are still nice & shiny and match the bonnet & vent-flaps he did 12-months ago.
