the more posts i read the more i think landrover should include a dictionary with each veehickll........i get worried about people that can't spell simple words. or do landy owners have their own vocabuary, like deisel, worryed, hurryed and curryed. of course it may be that a larger percentage of landy owner are disslicksick. another reason may be the number of people that think its cool to copy the septics and therefore try to spell like wot the septics do or maybe wheresdildo747 is really a virus that has infected this site and its purpose is to mess up everybodies spilling. answers on a ****edcard to wheresdildo747 boulder caulahrado septicland

A friend of mine had a disco, and the trans started not whining, but making blunt noises when any shift entered, turned out to be an extensive damage, I recommend you should get it checked as soon as possible before it extends, it's not normal for the trans to whine or make any of those noises

hello, i am new to land rovers, but familiar with 4x4's. whining is not good, but not the end either. try changing the AT fluid and filter. then, have your tranny flushed. do NOT flush it out without changing the filter!!!!! no matter what mechanic says it will clean your tranny out!!!!! flushing the tranny without changing the filter first will send all the metal shavings and crap into your valvebodys!!!! .....then drop the filter again and use fresh synthetic fluid.

if your rig has alot of miles on her. just cahnge the filter and fluid(dont flush her out). run her for for a 100 miles or so and change the filter and fliud again!!!! preferably with good synthetic fluid..... GOOD LUCK!!!!!! TIREDTIRES
