F fella31 Active Member Dec 14, 2008 #1 Hello all, on my Disco 300 Deisel, the oil light keeps flashing on/off, sometimes stays on, sometimes stays off. Checking the oil via the dipstick, it looks well topped up if anything slightly higher than max. Any ideas? Cheers Al

discool Well-Known Member Dec 14, 2008 #2 Replace the switch £4.50 max before you get concerned about oil pumps etc Are you using the correct grade of oil for your engine.
