second time now - the car unlocks all doors bu the drivers, its dead locked so no gettin it open from the inside either. first time it happened a simple lock and unlock sorted it. this morning required me to start the engine before it would unlock with the inside button.
I am guessing micro switches in the lock mech. would this be a common thing?

Thanks,
getting tired of this yoke... my own daily is demanding work that i cant get to as it is..

I would think lock is ok as it unlocks via inside switch. The fob isn't unlocking but inside switch is, which would lead me more to the control unit for it. Not sure if they are controlled separately, or if it would be possible to swap the wiring to the passenger door to prove unit. Either way hopefully someone with more knowledge of the lock circuits can help

It wouldn’t open on the remote or the inside switch initially – both working as expected with the exception of the driver’s door remaining dead locked. the windows even went down when holding the open button down, so it seems to be isolated to the door.

So more intermittent and could be coincidence opened from inside switch. I would then when it happens don't unlock from inside but try fob again after running car.
