Fitted fogs and reverse lights to mouth sides. just need to fit reflectors.

Looking good Lee,

Are those the std fog and reverse lights? I thought they were both bigger and brighter units as std. Fog at least brighter to be of use , plus the reverse light was bigger so it illuminated the ground / area behind the motor..

Yeh they are standard front marker light and a brake lights. With higher wattage bulbs it will work out better than the old ones that were fitted. I wanted to fit two fog lamps but there wasn't really room with the big reverse lamp on the rear near side. i think it looks smart all being the same style of lamp.
 
Not sure I'm understanding this right?
You have used standard rear tail lights with higher watt bulbs as fog lights?
Not sure but I think that's illegal?

No it not illegal. it doesn't matter what style of lamp you use. fog light have to be a minimum of 21w.

Nope just needs to be red.

Be for i did this mod i looked into all the rear light laws and chatted a lot with my best mate who is a MOT tester and its all legal. Think the only reason Land Rover did it like they did is probably down to cost.
